Out of the several methadone maintenance programs I have been on or dealt with, both in Baltimore and in CO and NYC Man Alive is by FAR the best. I have not had a single bad experience there, in almost two years. They work with you to help make methadone maintenance less of a burden and sincerely try to help with any issues that may arise. Add good counselors, mental health support (therapist and psychiatrist) in the same building. Also, for those with anxiety issues, they allow patients who are prescribed benzodiazipines, which can be a big issue for those seeking methadone treatment. Man Alive is a great program. Having been on and seen other clinics, Man Alive should not be taken for granted. Great program, very highly recommended.

Man alive save my life thanks to them I have now been clean for 10 years but I can from another program and came here on 6/18/12 .Thanks to all that works there and Miss Kandy is the best I 💘 MAN ALIVE 😃 💋.

I've been on several different programs throughout the state, this program is the best I've been on. This is the only program that I've been clean on. Great staff,staff will do anything to help you as long as you want the help.If you want to get clean this is the program for you but you got to want it and do the work nobody is going to hold your hand it's up to you.If you want it bad enough they are there to help you along the way. Man Alive Has a wonderful staff that is always willing and ready tohelp you with all of the aspects related to treatment with Great support groups covering all broad range of issues. I am compelled to note a counselor who for me has ALWAYS made the time to hear my concerns despite her hectic schedule. : Bridget S As with most staff there goes the extra mile to assist guide and recommend for there practice and programs. As well as recommended other services So this B /S about " only the MONEY is complete bunk ! consider this is a business and funding Revenue and patient needs for any Non profit are always paramount and play an important factor in deciding the beat allocation of funds. so for this ADDICT. ..
